Read this before you start training.
ProgramBody programs and coaching are educational fitness content. They are not medical advice, not a substitute for medical care, and not a diagnosis or treatment of any condition.
Consult your physician first
Before starting any program or coaching service, consult your physician, especially if you:
- Have a known medical condition (cardiac, metabolic, orthopedic, etc.)
- Are pregnant or postpartum
- Are returning to training after injury or surgery
- Are over 40 and haven’t exercised regularly in the last year
- Take medication that affects heart rate, blood pressure, or blood sugar
- Experience pain, dizziness, or chest discomfort during exercise
You train at your own risk
Strength training, conditioning, and any physical activity carries inherent risk of injury or worse. By using a ProgramBody program, you accept this risk and release ProgramBody and its coaches from liability for any injury, loss, or damages arising from use of the program or coaching service.
If something hurts — stop
Listen to your body. Sharp pain, numbness, dizziness, or chest pain are signals to stop the workout immediately and seek medical attention. The program will be there when you’re back.
Form is your responsibility
We provide video demonstrations and form cues for every exercise. You are responsible for executing them safely. If a movement feels wrong, scale the load down, regress the exercise, or skip it and ask your coach (in 1:1) or your physician.
Postpartum & pelvic floor
If you are postpartum or have an active pelvic floor diagnosis, work with a qualified pelvic floor physical therapist in parallel with any ProgramBody program. Our programs include pelvic-floor-aware progressions but are not a substitute for hands-on pelvic floor care.
